The design of a piece begins with a reflection on what the designer really wants to wear. The sketch is the first step.
Then withith the help of Fanny, a sharp-eyed product developer, we hunt for the most beautiful and durable fabrics possible to bring these creations to life.
Supporting French and European artisans is part of Balèse.
A garment takes between 6 to 12 months to be designed
Lhe perfect fit is the result of several fitting sessions on different morphologies, and discussions with the pattern maker. That's where it all comes together!
It will then take several prototypes made by an experienced seamstress, to finally have the ideal cut, the perfect length, or the perfect molding of the butt ;) We spend hours on this.
Unfortunately, we are aware that the sizes available are only the first of a large range, but the more you support Balèse the more sizes we can add.
